What are Monthly Minis?
Monthly Minis are short, themed mini sessions I offer throughout 2026. Each month has a fun holiday or seasonal-inspired setup (with Back to School in August and Fall in September). They’re a great way to keep your photos updated all year long without the time commitment of a full session.
Here’s the 2026 Monthly Minis lineup:
- Jan 17–18: New Year’s
- Feb 7–8: Valentine’s Day
- Mar 7–8: St. Patrick’s Day
- Apr 4–5: Easter
- May 2–3: Mother’s Day
- Jun 6–7: Father’s Day
- Jul 4–5: Independence Day (4th of July)
- Aug 1–2: Back to School
- Sep 5–6: Fall
- Oct 3–4: Halloween
- Nov 7–8: Thanksgiving
- Dec 5–6:
- Sat, Dec 5: Christmas
- Sun, Dec 6: Winter

Where do the Monthly Minis take place?
Most Monthly Minis will be held in my studio. September may be an exception depending on the Fall theme and weather (I’ll share the location details when booking opens).
How do I book?
Just choose your date/time on the booking calendar and reserve your spot. If you have questions before you book, feel free to message me — I’m always happy to help.
What happens after I book?
Once you’re booked, I’ll send you an invoice along with your contract/model release. That way you’ll have everything you need in one place, and you’ll know exactly what to expect before you arrive.
When do I pay?
Whatever works best for you! You can pay ahead of time once you receive your invoice, or you can pay at your session.
How long is a mini session?
Each mini session is 20 minutes. Minis are designed to be quick and easy, so please plan to arrive a few minutes early — that helps us start on time and makes sure you get the full experience.
What do we receive?
You’ll receive a web-sized online gallery that’s perfect for downloading, sharing, and posting. I’ll make sure you have a nice variety of images from your session.
What does “web-sized” mean?
Web-sized images are optimized for phones, social media, and online sharing. They look great on screens and are easy to download and post. Because they’re sized for online use, they are not intended for large prints.
What should we wear?
Simple, coordinated outfits photograph best. I recommend choosing 2–3 colors that look good together and keeping patterns minimal. Try to avoid busy logos, neon colors, and tiny patterns. If you’re stuck, message me — I’m happy to help you pick outfits that will look great with that month’s theme.
Who can be in the photos?
Most minis are perfect for kids, couples, and small families. If you’re wanting extended family or a larger group, reach out and I’ll help you decide if a mini is the right fit or if a full session would serve you better.
What if we’re late?
Because minis are scheduled back-to-back, late arrivals may receive less shooting time. If something comes up and you’re running behind, please message me as soon as you can — I’ll always do my best to help.
What if the weather is bad?
Since most minis are in-studio, weather usually isn’t an issue. If we do an outdoor option (like a Fall setup), I’ll reach out with the plan. Depending on conditions, we may reschedule or adjust the setup. Either way, I’ll keep you in the loop so you’re not guessing.
When will we get our photos?
Your gallery will be delivered with my standard turnaround time. I’ll also keep you updated if anything changes, but my goal is always to get your images back to you as quickly as possible.
Do we get a print release?
Yes — your final images include a print release.
What is the “12 Months of Minis” bonus?
This is the fun part! If you participate in all 12 Monthly Minis in 2026, you’ll receive a free 2027 calendar featuring your favorite photo from each month. If you’d like extras for grandparents or gifts, additional calendars are available for $20 each.
Can I transfer my spot to someone else?
If you need to transfer your session time to someone else, please message me as soon as possible so I can confirm the details and make sure everything goes smoothly.
How do I contact you?
Message me through your preferred method (Facebook/Instagram or email) and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. I’m a one-woman business, but I promise I’ll take great care of you.
